Brian Jones was the founding member of the 1960's Rock & Roll band the Rolling Stones.
Even more important for Brian that the Band he started in 1961 is still going today.
Brian Jones is known for his use of multiple instruments, Fashionable mod image, recreational drug excesses and his death at age just 27.
Brian's full name was Lewis Brain Hopkin Jones born on the 28th February 1942 in Cheltenham, Glouchester England Brian founded the group the Rolling Stones and was there leader and got the Rolling stones the early gigs in there careers and also learned Keith Richards to play the guitar and learned Mick Jagger to play the harmonica, he was a mult - Talented musician who could play around 11 musical instuments with most he could play an arry of instruments on stones recordings and had an unique, amazinmg gift were he could figue out how to play any instrument from any culture in a matter of hours. although by 1967 he was heavily involved in Drugs and Alcohol Brian was an inportant member of the stones, giving them that mid- 60's Blues & psychodelic sound on a lot of there songs like My Little Rooster, Paint It Black, Mothers little helper, She's A rainbow, Dandilion, Jumping Jack flash, and No expectation etc ......... something the band could not recapture after Brian's Death.
His Death on the 3rd of July 1969 3 weeks after being sacked from the Rolling Stone is a sad ending to a great musician although his death says death by misadventure some people believe brian was murdered! I strongly agree. but I will not go into what i think happened? as this is a tribute to a great musician who sometimes does not get the recondition he truly deserves.

"Mick Jagger reading apart of Anoius poem at Hyde Park London on 5th July 1969"

Peace, peace! he is not dead, he doth not sleep-
He hath awakened from the dream of life-
'Tis we, who lost in stormy visions, keep
With phantoms an unprofitable strife,
And in mad trance, strike with our spirit's life,
Invulnerable nothings.-We decay
Like corpses in a charnel; fear and grief
Convulse us and consume us day by day,
And cold hopes swarm like worms within our living clay.

"John Lennon speaking about Brian after his death"

“Well, he was different over the years as he disintegrated, he ended up the kind of guy that you dread he’d come on the phone, you know, because it was trouble.
He was really in a lot of pain. But in the early days he was all right, because he was young and confident.
He was one of them guys that disintegrated in front of you. And he was alright, and he wasn’t sort of brilliant or anything, he was just a nice guy.”
